Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Aug 8: In a notable policy shift, the Odisha government has decided to exclude the 5T charter and ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative from the preparation of confidential reports for its employees.
According to sources, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department has issued a notification confirming the removal of these criteria from the Annual Confidential Character Rolls (CCR) for employees in Groups A, B, and C.
This change reinstates the previous system for employee performance appraisal reports (PAR) that was in place before the 2019-20 period. Under the new guidelines, the 5T charter and ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiatives, which were used to evaluate employee performance, will no longer be part of the assessment process.
The decision reflects a return to the earlier practice for evaluating government employees’ performance, signaling a significant shift in the state’s approach to personnel management. This move aims to streamline the appraisal process and align it with previous standards used for confidential reporting.
