Odisha BJP to launch membership drive with high-profile participation on Tuesday

Bhubaneswar, (Reporters Pen): Sept 2: Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal announced on Monday that the party’s state unit will officially launch its membership campaign on Tuesday. During a press conference, Samal revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the event remotely from New Delhi.

Samal added that Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and other BJP leaders will renew their memberships in a special program at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar. While individuals can start enrolling in the party from today, the formal launch of the membership drive will take place at 2 pm on Tuesday.

Additionally, a toll-free number (8800002024) will be activated from 5 pm today for membership registration. Those over 18 years of age interested in joining the BJP can call this number to sign up.

Samal highlighted that the BJP, which became the world’s largest political party in 2014 with over 11 crore members, added 7 crore new members in the following three years. He emphasized that new members will play a crucial role in the party’s development.
