Odisha CM reports on 100 days of governance: Key initiatives, temple management, and corruption crackdown

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 19: (Odisha CM) On Thursday, as the BJP government in Odisha marked its 100th day in office, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted the achievements of the administration, emphasizing that promises from the party’s election manifesto have been met within the designated timeframe.

At a special event in Puri, Majhi presented a report on the government’s first 100 days, reaffirming its commitment to realizing the vision of a ‘Viksit Odisha’ by 2036. He noted that the state government had swiftly acted to open four gates of the Shree Jagannath Temple and the Ratna Bhandar, a significant move for the 12th-century shrine. Additionally, a ₹500 crore corpus fund has been established for the temple’s management, and ₹200 crore has been allocated for preserving Odia cultural heritage.

During the event at Sharadhabali, the Chief Minister also highlighted the launch of the Subhadra Yojana, a financial support scheme for women, as pledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Majhi underscored the government’s tough stance on corruption, revealing that 71 corruption cases were filed and 58 officials, including 17 Class I and seven Class II officers, were arrested in just 100 days.
