Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to visit Delhi to attract investors

Odisha Chief Minister: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 1: Following a trip to Jharkhand, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to begin a two-day visit to New Delhi on Wednesday to attract investors for the upcoming 4th edition of Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave. This flagship global investors summit is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar on January 28-29, 2025. The Chief Minister will be joined by a delegation from the state Industries Department.

On October 3, the Odisha government delegation will host an interactive session led by Majhi at Hotel Taj, as indicated in an invitation issued by Principal Secretary of Industries, Hemant Sharma. This session, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), aims to showcase investment opportunities in Odisha. The invite highlights that the event will provide a valuable opportunity to engage with the new leadership of the state government.

While unveiling the logo for the investment summit on September 27, Majhi reaffirmed Odisha’s commitment to fulfilling its industrial aspirations through visionary policies, enhanced infrastructure, and a business-friendly environment. He outlined several ambitious initiatives undertaken by his government, including the establishment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) parks in each district, the creation of an FDI Park, multimodal logistics parks, and the development of new industrial corridors designed to foster a robust industrial ecosystem.
