Subhadra Yojana: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Dec 16: The fourth phase transfer of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana has been postponed, as the verification process for beneficiaries is still in progress, announced Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday. The Odisha government had originally planned to release the funds on December 25.
Parida urged beneficiaries to complete their verification through e-KYC and biometric methods, emphasizing that this is their last opportunity to enroll in the program. Over 20 lakh beneficiaries are expected to receive financial assistance in this phase.
She highlighted that approximately 5.11 lakh applicants have not yet completed their e-KYC, with some having only done so via OTP. These individuals need to finish the biometric verification at Common Services Centres (CSCs) or Mo Seva Kendras (MSKs). Applicants are required to visit these centers with their Aadhaar number or acknowledgment receipt. The biometric e-KYC process will be conducted free of charge. After completing e-KYC, beneficiaries must visit their banks to ensure their Aadhaar-linked accounts are enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Regarding applications rejected due to incorrect land ownership claims, Parida advised eligible beneficiaries to submit their grievances via the Subhadra portal or to the block committee.
