Plus II admission cut-offs announced: Ravenshaw leads in all streams

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), July 20: On Saturday, the Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) released the first selection list for Plus II admissions across various streams. Of the 4.76 lakh applicants, 4.26 lakh have received their intimation letters. These letters were sent via the SAMS portal, email, WhatsApp, and standard text messages to the registered mobile numbers of the selected students.

This year, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School has set a cut-off of 91.50% for the Science stream and 75.17% for the Arts stream. In the Commerce stream, the cut-off mark is 77%. BJB Higher Secondary School has set cut-offs of 87% for Science, 72.33% for Arts, and 70% for Commerce.

Saraswati Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School in Berhampur is third in Science with an 84.83% cut-off, followed by JKBK Higher Secondary School in Cuttack and FM Higher Secondary School in Balasore with 84.17% and 84% cut-offs, respectively. In Arts, BJB is third with a 72.33% cut-off, with FM and Government Higher Secondary School Bhawanipatna in fourth and fifth places, respectively, at 71.50% and 70.80%.

In Commerce, BJB holds the third spot with a 70% cut-off, while JKBK and Municipal Higher Secondary School in Rourkela are fourth and fifth with 68.67% and 68% cut-offs, respectively. Overall, 2.71 lakh students have been selected for Arts, 1.17 lakh for Science, and more than 24,000 students have received intimation letters in the first selection.
