odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Dec 30: A 25-year-old woman was discovered hanging in a women’s hostel in Patia, Bhubaneswar, on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Sonali Sanghamitra Parida, a resident of Patkura in Kendrapada district.
Sources indicate that Sonali was employed at a real estate company near the Fire Station in Baramunda. She was found in the bathroom of her hostel located in Lane-2, Adarsh Vihar, where she had lived for the past two to three years. In addition to her job, Sonali was known as a food vlogger and was active on social media.
The Infocity police have recovered her body and sent it for a postmortem examination. While the circumstances surrounding her alleged suicide remain unclear, her family suspects foul play. Her father stated that she regularly communicated with her family, speaking to them two to three times daily. He noted that she had spoken with all family members on Saturday and had encouraged her brothers not to work after her younger brother recently secured a job.
In light of their suspicions, the family has filed a complaint with the police.
