odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 11: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense fog across several parts of Odisha over the next three days, significantly reducing visibility. Chilly conditions persist, but night temperatures are expected to rise by 2-4°C over the next three days, followed by a drop of 2-3°C thereafter.
In its latest bulletin, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued a yellow warning for dense fog in districts such as Koraput, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Khurda, Angul, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, and Sundargarh within the next 24 hours.
Additionally, shallow to moderate fog may affect Jharsuguda, Puri, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, and Jajpur.
Similar foggy conditions are expected on Sunday, with dense fog likely in the previously mentioned districts. Shallow to moderate fog may also occur in Bhadrak, Ganjam, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapada.
On Monday, dense fog is predicted to persist in Koraput, Kandhamal, and other central districts. The IMD has advised caution, especially for travelers, due to reduced visibility during the mornings.
