Odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 23: At least four people were injured, and several vehicles were damaged in a series of accidents near Raj Mahal Square in Bhubaneswar on Thursday, reportedly caused by a Mo Bus.
The incident occurred in the morning near Rajmahal Square-Master Canteen, when an electric Mo Bus applied its brakes suddenly, causing a non-AC Mo Bus traveling on Route 26 to crash into it from behind. The sudden braking led to a chain reaction, with three cars following the Mo Buses also colliding into one another. As a result, four individuals, including passengers from the Mo Buses and the cars, were injured and quickly rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment.
Locals at the scene alleged that the electric Mo Bus was speeding recklessly and made an abrupt stop on the busy road. They raised concerns about the driver’s credibility, suggesting the possibility of him being in an inebriated state. The situation led to a tense standoff, with residents questioning the frequency of such accidents involving public transport vehicles in the city.
