CM Mohan Charan Majhi to promote investment opportunities in Mumbai

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 15: CM (Chief Minister) Mohan Charan Majhi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Mumbai starting October 18, as part of the preparations for ‘Utkarsh Odisha,’ the state’s flagship business summit scheduled for January 28 and 29. During his trip, the Chief Minister plans to conduct a series of roadshows in India’s financial capital, aimed at fostering partnerships and attracting investments for the upcoming event by highlighting the vast potential and opportunities available in Odisha.

Additionally, Majhi will engage in discussions with key investors regarding the establishment of a mega steel plant in Keonjhar, aligning with the state’s broader strategy to enhance industrial development and create investment opportunities across various sectors.

Earlier this month, on October 2, Majhi visited Delhi, where he met with ambassadors, high commissioners, consul-generals, trade commissioners, senior diplomats, and business leaders from 34 countries, inviting them to participate in the signature investment summit. He also held individual meetings with delegations from industry bodies such as FICCI, CII, and associations representing auto parts and apparel. Furthermore, he led a roadshow encouraging investors to join the ‘Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.’
