Crime News: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Dec 11:In a disturbing incident in Bhubaneswar, police recovered the body of an elderly man lying on the road in the Birabandha area, falling under the jurisdiction of the Airfield police station. The victim has been identified as Bauribandhu Behera, a resident of Birabandha.
Local residents made the grim discovery and promptly notified authorities late on Tuesday night. Upon examination of the body, police observed several injury marks, leading them to suspect that Behera may have been murdered before his body was discarded on the road. Investigators believe the crime likely occurred late Tuesday night.
Following the report, a team from the Airfield police station quickly arrived at the scene, where they secured the body and arranged for its transport to the Capital Hospital for a thorough autopsy. The police are currently working to gather more information and evidence related to the case.
