Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 27: Darshan at the Panchalingeshwar Temple in Nilagiri, located in Odisha’s Balasore district, has been temporarily suspended due to continuous heavy rainfall and strong water currents from a nearby waterfall. Officials have taken this precaution to ensure the safety of visitors, as the water flow has become dangerously powerful near the mandap area, where devotees light earthen lamps.

An official stated, “Devotees have been barred from touching the Lingam because of the intense flow of water.” The temple management emphasized that access will remain restricted until the water flow stabilizes and conditions become safe for devotees.

This decision has left many devotees, who traveled from distant places, disappointed as they were eager to visit the sacred site. In light of the situation, they are praying for the swift resumption of darshan at the Panchalingeshwar Temple, hoping for improved weather conditions in the coming days.
