Berhampur, (Reporterspen), May 7: Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and the party’s political strategist, VK Pandian, issued a challenge to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), urging them to reveal their Chief Ministerial candidate for Odisha.

Addressing a public gathering in Khallikote, Ganjam district, Pandian asserted that the BJP would struggle to secure even 10 percent of the votes if they nominate a Chief Ministerial candidate.

“Some individuals speculate that Naveen Patnaik won’t receive public support to continue as Odisha’s Chief Minister. Such notions are mere fantasies. When questioned about their CM candidate, the opposition remains silent,” Pandian remarked.

“For a decade, a Union Minister has aspired to lead Odisha, yet his own party hesitates to endorse him. If his party lacks confidence in him, how can he expect trust and support from Odisha’s people?” Pandian queried.

“The Union Minister repeatedly urges Odisha to give the BJP a chance, but first, they must declare their CM candidate. The people need to see who they are voting for. Let the people decide between Naveen Patnaik and the BJP’s CM nominee,” Pandian asserted.

“I challenge the opposition to announce their CM candidate if they have the courage. I dare them to reveal their choice, confident that they won’t garner even 10 percent of the votes,” Pandian concluded, rallying support for BJD candidates.
