Naveen condemns opposition’s use of derogatory language

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), May 29: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Naveen Patnaik expressed dismay over the use of derogatory language and spreading of false information by opposition leaders campaigning in the state.

In a video message addressed to the people of Odisha, Patnaik conveyed his disappointment, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to serving the state’s populace over the years.

Patnaik highlighted the relentless efforts of his government in standing by the people during challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, cyclones, and floods. He underscored the positive impact of initiatives such as the Mission Shakti program, aimed at empowering women, and various welfare schemes benefiting farmers and youth, aimed at propelling the state towards prosperity.

Expressing concern over the attempts to discredit his administration by political rivals, Patnaik affirmed his faith in the people of Odisha to discern truth from falsehood and deliver a fitting response in the upcoming elections for both Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies on June 1st.

Reiterating his dedication to Odisha’s development and promising to elevate the state to preeminence, Patnaik invoked the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, expressing confidence in securing divine favor in the electoral journey ahead.
