Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign tour of Odisha announced

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), May 1: In preparation for the upcoming state elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on May 6th. BJP leader Golak Mohapatra revealed that the PM will address a public gathering in Behampur at 10 am, followed by another session at 12:30 pm in Nabarangpur.

Election fervor is escalating in Odisha ahead of the polls scheduled to commence on May 13th. Recently, BJP Party president JP Nadda rallied support at the Vijay Sankalp Samavesh in Ambapua, Berhampur, underscoring the party’s commitment to development and PM Modi’s vision of a Developed India.

Highlighting the need for change in Odisha, Nadda emphasized that a BJP-led government in the state would facilitate the realization of Prime Minister Modi’s nationwide developmental agenda.

The Vijay Sankalp Samavesh saw active participation from various party leaders, including State President Manmohan Samal, who rallied support for BJP candidates.

In Odisha’s political landscape, there are currently 147 assembly constituencies and 21 Lok Sabha constituencies. Presently, the Biju Janta Dal (BJD) holds 112 seats, while BJP and Congress have 23 and 9 seats, respectively. The Odisha Assembly Elections will be conducted in four phases, spanning from May 13th to June 1st, 2024.
