New delhi : Today, the entire nation is celebrating Independence Day. On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. The Prime Minister spoke about the country’s development and also highlighted the challenges that lie ahead. He touched upon various aspects related to the auto industry, including the opportunities for jobs in the sector, especially with the advent of electric vehicles.

Prime Minister Mentions Electric Vehicles

While addressing the public about the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained that this scheme will especially benefit the middle class when their electricity bills become free. In connection with this scheme, the PM also discussed electric vehicles.

Charging Costs Will Decrease

PM Modi mentioned that the demand for electric vehicles is growing across the country. He stated that if people produce electricity from solar power under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme, they can reduce the costs associated with vehicle travel. The Prime Minister conveyed a clear message in his speech that by generating electricity from the sun, electric cars can be charged, promoting the charging infrastructure and reducing expenses for people.

PM’s Green Hydrogen Mission

The Prime Minister further mentioned that “We want to become a global hub with the Green Hydrogen Mission. For this, policies have been formulated at a fast pace, and those policies have been implemented with the same speed. With this, we aim to move towards new energy.”

Possibilities for Green Jobs

The Prime Minister also spoke about the benefits the country could gain from the Green Hydrogen Mission. He said, “We are concerned about climate change and global warming, but within this, there is a huge potential for green jobs. If the importance of green jobs increases in the future, we are encouraging our youth to seize opportunities in this field.”
