Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 2: (IPS officer) On Wednesday, the Odisha police announced a movement order for two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and one Odisha Police Service (OPS) officer, in alignment with the Home Department’s notification issued on October 1.
This directive requires them to assume their new positions without the customary joining time, reflecting the urgency of the upcoming festival season.
According to the order, Vinodh Patil H., the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kesinga, is instructed to relinquish his current responsibilities and promptly report to his new role as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Malkangiri. Similarly, Rahul Goel, the SDPO of Baliguda, an IPS officer of the 2020 batch, has been directed to take immediate charge as the SP for Railways in Cuttack.
Additionally, Mihir Kumar Panda, an OPS officer currently serving as SP at the State Police Headquarters in Cuttack, is tasked with transferring his responsibilities to the senior-most Deputy SP of the Special Reserve Police in Cuttack before promptly proceeding to assume the role of SP in Nabarangpur.
