Matric results: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), April 8: The results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, are likely to be announced in the second week of May 2025. This update was shared by BSE President Srikant Tarai during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Tarai informed that the evaluation of answer sheets, which began on March 19, is nearing completion. Although the process faced a brief three-day interruption, efforts are being made to ensure the timely publication of results. “We are working diligently to release the results by the second week of May, so that students do not face any delays in their academic plans,” he said.
He also assured that the interests of students remain the Board’s top priority, especially concerning Science paper assessments. “All decisions have been taken in line with the examination committee’s recommendations, so students need not worry,” he added.
This year, around 5.5 lakh students appeared for the Class X board examination. To enhance transparency and prevent paper leaks, the BSE introduced watermarks and QR codes on question papers. The evaluation is being carried out under tight supervision across multiple centers in the state.
