Motorcyclist burned to death after head-on crash in Odisha

Motorcyclist burned: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 30: In a tragic incident on Monday, a motorcyclist was burned to death following a head-on collision between two bikes on Kudpani Road in the Biramitrapur area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district. The deceased, identified as Ashok Agarwal from Jharkhand, was traveling from Raiboga to Biramitrapur when the accident occurred.

According to reports, Ashok was involved in a collision with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The impact ignited a fire, engulfing all three riders in flames.

Bystanders rushed to the scene upon hearing their screams and managed to rescue two of the bikers from the fire. Unfortunately, Ashok became trapped in his motorcycle and could not be saved, resulting in his tragic death.

Emergency services, including a police team from Biramitrapur and Fire Service personnel, quickly arrived at the location to extinguish the flames. While both motorcycles were completely destroyed, Ashok’s body was recovered and sent for a post-mortem examination.

The identities of the injured bikers are still being confirmed. They were initially taken to Biramitrapur Government Hospital, but due to their deteriorating conditions, they were later transferred to a medical facility in Rourkela.
