Odisha CM: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), April 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to leave for New Delhi on April 7 for a two-day official visit aimed at boosting investment and industrial growth in Odisha.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister will meet with several Union Ministers on the evening of April 7 to discuss ongoing and upcoming developmental projects in the state. These high-level meetings are expected to focus on infrastructure development, energy, and central assistance for key sectors.
On April 8, CM Majhi will participate in the Delhi Investors Summit, where he is scheduled to engage with top business leaders and potential investors. During the summit, he will present Odisha’s growing investment potential and outline the state government’s proactive industrial policies and ease-of-doing-business reforms.
A major highlight of the visit will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for the establishment of a naphtha cracker project in Paradip, a project expected to significantly boost the petrochemical sector in the region.
The Chief Minister and his delegation will return to Odisha on April 9.
