Odisha News: Chief Minister invites global diplomats to join Odisha’s growth story at Ambassadors’ Meet

Odisha News:Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 3: On Thursday, the Odisha government successfully hosted an Ambassadors’ Meet in New Delhi as part of its strategy to attract investments for the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended an invitation to various countries to participate in the state’s growth narrative. The event took place at ITC Maurya in the Diplomatic Enclave of Chanakyapuri, marking a significant milestone in preparations for the highly anticipated conclave.

The meet highlighted Odisha’s dynamic industrial ecosystem and unveiled new investment opportunities to an international audience. It attracted Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consul-Generals, Trade Commissioners, and senior diplomats from 34 countries, as stated by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Notable participating nations included Indonesia, Norway, Singapore, China, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, the USA, Thailand, Vietnam, and the UK. Additionally, nine foreign associations joined the event, underscoring the growing global interest in Odisha.

In his keynote address, Chief Minister Majhi warmly welcomed the ambassadors, emphasizing Odisha’s rich history and strategic location as pivotal factors for its evolution into a prime investment hub. He also highlighted the state’s vast natural resources and skilled workforce, inviting all attendees to the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, which aims to foster collaboration and growth.
