A yellow warning was issued, indicating that dense to very dense fog is likely in districts such as Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, and Khurda over the next 24 hours.
Additionally, shallow to moderate fog may occur in the early morning hours at various locations, including Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Khurda, and isolated spots in Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi.
The IMD noted that while there would be no significant change in the minimum night temperature for the next 24 hours, a rise of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius is expected over the following four days.
