Odisha News: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Nov 14: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring a bright future for children through quality education, announcing the waiver of hostel fees for school students. In his speech, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s decision to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) in higher education from the current academic year, describing it as a transformative step for Odisha’s education system. Majhi encouraged students to dream big and pursue their goals with determination.
The Chief Minister also criticized the previous BJD government, stating that despite the Centre introducing NEP in 2020, it was not implemented in Odisha for political reasons.
