Odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 13: The picturesque garden of Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar has been opened to the public and school students for 10 days, starting Monday. Visitors can marvel at vibrant flowers, elegant water fountains, and a diverse array of animals, including deer, peacocks, ducks, swans, and a pond filled with colorful fish.
The garden is open to the general public daily from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, with the last entry allowed at 4:30 pm. Entry is free but requires prior registration through the “Raj Bhavan Garden Visit” mobile app, available on the Google Play Store.
Special timings have been allocated for school students up to Class X, who can visit the garden from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, except on Sundays. Schools must submit a written request to the ADC to the Governor at adc.odishagovernor@gmail.com, specifying details such as the supervising staff’s name and contact, the number of students, and the purpose of the visit.
Students are required to wear uniforms, carry identity cards, and be accompanied by teachers or staff. This initiative aims to provide visitors an enriching experience while adhering to safety and organizational guidelines.
