odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 18: A heartbreaking incident occurred on Saturday at Naya Bagapatia Primary School in the Tamaka area of Jajpur district, Odisha, where a Class IV student tragically lost his life after falling from a swing during recess.
The deceased has been identified as Somyarajan Sahu, the son of Nabaghana Sahu, a resident of Naya Bagapatia village. Reports indicate that Somyarajan was playing on the swing when he suddenly fell, sustaining severe injuries. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Danagadi; however, despite the best efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The incident has raised serious concerns among the community, as Somyarajan’s father and family members have alleged negligence on the part of the school’s teachers. They claim that proper supervision was lacking during the recess period, leading to this tragic accident.
