Odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Dec 28: The mutilated body of a woman was found on the railway tracks in Titlagarh area of Balangir district, Odisha, on Saturday morning.
The body, identified as 25-year-old Kamala Rana from Tentulikhuti village, was discovered by the Government Railway Police (GRP) near Sirol village, under the jurisdiction of Titlagarh police station.
According to sources, Kamala had a heated argument with her husband, Kumarmani Rana, on Friday night. The couple, married for eight years with two children, had a dispute, after which Kamala left the house. Despite searching for her throughout the night, her family could not locate her.
The next morning, locals spotted Kamala’s body on the railway tracks and immediately alerted the GRP. Her family members soon arrived at the scene after being notified.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
