Odisha renames ‘Mo School Abhiyan’ to ‘Panchasakha Sikhya Setu’

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 14: Following the announcement in the annual budget, the Odisha government has officially renamed the state-sponsored scheme ‘Mo School Abhiyan’ to ‘Panchasakha Sikhya Setu.’

The School and Mass Education Department has issued a notification confirming the name change. The department has directed the State Project Director, OSEPA-cum-Member Secretary, to implement the necessary steps. Detailed guidelines and modalities for the Panchasakha Sikhya Setu are expected to be released soon.

The revised scheme aims to benefit students by encouraging active participation from alumni and other stakeholders, with the goal of transforming school education.

The renaming of Mo School Abhiyan was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during his maiden budget speech on July 25, while presenting the state budget in the Assembly.
