Bhubaneswar, (Repoterspen), Aug 16: Odisha Vigilance today unearthed substantial assets linked to Pradeep Kumar Mohapatra, Additional Civil Supplies Officer of Kendrapada, during coordinated raids at five locations. The searches were conducted under search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, and targeted properties in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Kendrapada.
The raid revealed significant assets, including two buildings, two plots, and deposits amounting to approximately Rs 1 crore. The assets discovered include a double-storey building of around 5,600 sq ft in Lingipur, Bhubaneswar, a building located in Kalani Nagar, Madhupatna, Cuttack and two plots in prime areas of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
Additional findings include mutual fund deposits of about Rs 1 crore, cash amounting to Rs 1.21 lakh, and a four-wheeler (Maruti Swift) along with two two-wheelers. A locker in the name of Mohapatra’s spouse at SBI Main Branch, Cuttack, is yet to be opened. The valuation and assessment of the buildings and plots are ongoing, and the searches are still in progress. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
