OSSSC exams:Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 7: Aspirants for the positions of Amin and Revenue Inspector (RI) staged a demonstration in Bhubaneswar on Monday, alleging widespread irregularities in the recruitment examinations conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC). Gathering at Lower PMG under the banner of Students Against Corruption, a large group of job seekers held placards and banners to voice their concerns.

The protest occurred just two days after Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced a probe into the alleged discrepancies surrounding the examination. The demonstrators demanded the cancellation and rescheduling of the exam, along with strict action against officials implicated in the irregularities.

Protesters claimed that a blacklisted company was chosen to conduct the examination, calling for a comprehensive investigation into the matter. They warned the Odisha government to take immediate measures to ensure transparency in the exam process.

The demonstrators mentioned that they had previously communicated their grievances to the Chief Minister via Collectors and highlighted issues such as computer malfunctions at some exam centers, which prevented many candidates from completing the exam properly.
