Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 21: Panic erupted in the Ainthapali area of Sambalpur city, Odisha, following a bomb scare triggered by an unclaimed box found near a local shop on Sunday evening. Concerned locals alerted the authorities, prompting a swift response from the police.
A police team quickly arrived at the scene, and a bomb disposal squad was summoned to investigate the situation. With heightened tension in the air, traffic in the area came to a standstill, leaving many commuters stranded for over half an hour.
After a thorough examination, the bomb disposal team confirmed that there were no dangerous materials inside the box; it contained only garments and other articles of daily use.
