President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha for two days starting October 23

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 14: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Odisha for two days, commencing October 23. Sources indicate that she will arrive in the state on October 23 and travel to Puri the following day to serve as the chief guest at the 75th anniversary celebration of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya.

According to her itinerary, President Murmu is scheduled to participate in the program at Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya in Puri from 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM on October 24.

This visit follows her previous four-day trip to Odisha in July, during which she attended the 96th Death Anniversary of Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das in Bhubaneswar on July 6. On July 7, she observed the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in Puri.

The next day, she explored the Udayagiri Caves, interacted with students at Bibhuti Kanungo College of Art and Crafts and Utkal University of Culture, and inaugurated the Divine Retreat Centre of Brahma Kumaris at Haridamada village, launching the ‘Lifestyle for Sustainability’ campaign simultaneously.
