Subhadra Yojana: Third instalment of Subhadra Yojana to reach remaining beneficiaries soon

Subhadra Yojana: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Oct 28: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the third instalment of Rs 5,000 under the Subhadra Yojana will soon be credited to the bank accounts of women beneficiaries who missed out in the first two phases. The scheme, launched on September 17 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to provide financial support of Rs 50,000 to women aged 21-60 years over five years (2024-2029).

More than 1 crore women have applied for the scheme. So far, 60 lakh beneficiaries have received the first instalment, with 25 lakh women getting the amount in the first phase and others on October 9 during the second phase.

The next round of payments will begin in the first week of November after the October 31 deadline for updating bank details and correcting errors.

According to sources, the second instalment will likely be disbursed on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025) and the third on Rakhi Purnima (August 9, 2025), ensuring timely financial aid to beneficiaries.
