Subhadra Yojana : Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 4: The Odisha government is expected to release the fourth phase of the first installment for women beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana after January 15. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida shared this information during a press briefing on Saturday, noting that the application verification period, initially set to conclude on December 30, has been extended to January 15.

Once the verification process is completed, the government will proceed with disbursing the fourth phase funds to eligible beneficiaries. Parida emphasized that Anganwadi workers have been mobilized to conduct door-to-door surveys to identify those eligible for the scheme, ensuring that no deserving beneficiary will miss out on the benefits.

While the original deadline for receiving the first installment was March 8, Parida clarified that beneficiaries would still receive financial support even if they apply after March 30. Registration will continue until all eligible women in the villages have applied. Additionally, the state government had previously set March 31 as the registration deadline for the Subhadra Yojana. With this extension, eligible women can receive two installments totaling Rs 10,000 for the 2024-25 fiscal year if they apply by the end of March.
