Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Aug 24: In a tragic incident on Saturday, three laborers died of asphyxiation and another is in critical condition at a construction site in Pukuda village, Sambalpur district, Odisha.
The deceased have been identified as Srikant Munda, Bharat Rana, and Basant Dehury. Siddharth Mund, the fourth laborer, was admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Sambalpur and is reported to be in critical condition.
The incident occurred while the laborers were engaged in centering work for a septic tank. According to initial reports, the workers suddenly lost consciousness. They were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where three were pronounced dead upon arrival.
