weather news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 25: Dense fog is expected to blanket several parts of Odisha over the next three days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned on Saturday.

A dense fog alert has been issued for one or two places in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Angul till the morning of January 26. The warning extends to some of these areas until January 28, with thick fog expected to persist in isolated pockets.

In addition, shallow to moderate fog is likely to affect early morning visibility in parts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, and a few places in Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Angul, Koraput, Nuapada, Jharsuguda from January 25 to 28.

The IMD also stated that there will be no significant change in the night temperatures for the next few days. In the last 24 hours, G Udayagiri in Kandhamal recorded the lowest temperature at 9.4°C, followed by Semiliguga in Koraput at 10.5°C.
