weather News: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Nov 13: Odisha is expected to continue experiencing rainfall on Wednesday due to the influence of a low-pressure area over the southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal, near the coasts of north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain at isolated places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri until 8:30 am on Thursday.
Earlier, the IMD issued a warning for light rain and thunderstorms in parts of Puri district, advising people to take shelter and protect themselves from potential lightning. However, the weather is expected to clear, with dry conditions predicted to prevail across the state starting Thursday.
Additionally, the night temperature is expected to drop by 2-4°C in the coming days. In the past 24 hours, G Udayagiri recorded the lowest temperature at 14°C, followed by Daringbadi at 15.5°C, Similigida at 16.5°C, Jharsuguda at 16.8°C, and Angul and Phulbani both at 17°C.
