The IMD further indicated that shallow to moderate fog is expected in parts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi districts until the morning of November 28.

Looking ahead, Odisha may experience light rain from November 28 to 30, due to a weather system forming over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into a deep depression and move north-northwestwards toward the Sri Lanka-Tamil Nadu coast. The system will cause moisture incursion, bringing light rain to places like Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati on November 28; Bhadrak, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati on November 29; and Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput on November 30.

This rainfall is expected to result in an increase in the night temperature, which may rise by 2-3°C from November 29 onward.
