Weather News:Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 27: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that heavy rain is expected to persist in several districts of Odisha. On September 27, a yellow warning was issued for the districts of Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, and Keonjhar, indicating the likelihood of significant rainfall. In addition to the heavy downpours, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur at various locations throughout the state.
While there are no specific weather warnings anticipated until September 30, the IMD forecasts light to moderate rain and thundershowers at a few places across Odisha during this period.
Looking ahead, on October 1, isolated thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are predicted for districts including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Sundargarh. Rain and thundershowers are expected to continue in some areas over the following two days, necessitating caution among residents.
