Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Sept 14: In a horrific incident in Cuttack city, Odisha, a woman was allegedly murdered by her two sons.
The shocking incident occurred in the Mahanadi Vihar area on Saturday. According to preliminary reports, the sons allegedly killed their mother by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon, leaving her body in a pool of blood.
Upon receiving the report, senior police officials arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. The exact motive behind the murder remains unclear, but sources suggest a family dispute may have triggered the violence.
Locals reported that the deceased woman lived with her two sons. One son has been detained by the police, while the other is currently on the run.
