Bhubaneswar, (Repoterspen), July 1: Preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in Odisha’s Puri are in their final stages, with less than a week remaining for the world-famous festival.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to convene a crucial meeting in Puri on Tuesday to oversee all aspects of the preparations, as informed by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan to reporters. The meeting aims to ensure the smooth conduct of this mega annual event.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining discipline during the Rath Yatra, Minister Harichandan mentioned measures are being implemented to provide necessary facilities for women and address issues related to VIP movements. He highlighted concerns over VIP presence disrupting rituals and announced plans to restrict temple entry on the day of the event.
