Naveen congratulates Modi on record third term as India’s PM

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), June 10: Naveen Patnaik, former Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president, extended congratulations to Narendra Modi for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India.

Patnaik conveyed his wishes for Modi’s success and the accomplishment of the nation’s aspirations through a message on his social media handle.

“Congratulate Shri @narendramodi ji on being sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the record third consecutive term. Wish you a successful tenure and best wishes to your team in fulfilling the aspirations of the people. May our beloved country reach new heights of development under your leadership,” expressed the BJD supremo.

The oath-taking ceremony, administered by President Droupadi Murmu, took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan yesterday, marking Modi as the first leader since former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to serve three consecutive terms. Additionally, 71 council members, comprising 30 Cabinet ministers, 5 Ministers of State-Independent Charge, and 36 Ministers of State, also took their oaths during the ceremony.
