Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), June 17: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presided over a meeting today with senior officials from the Finance Department, including the Finance Secretary.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to initiate consultations with the Finance Department and other stakeholders to draft a people-centric Annual Budget 2024-25. He underscored the importance of this budget reflecting the aspirations and priorities of the citizens through Program Expenditure.
Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Smt. Anu Garg, accompanied by senior officers from the Planning and Convergence Department, briefed the Chief Minister on the department’s activities and responsibilities.
The Chief Minister directed officials to commence the necessary processes promptly. Additionally, he urged them to ensure the effective implementation of departmental schemes and to bolster the planning frameworks at the district level.
