Bhubaneswar, (Repoterspen), July 1: A multitude of people from various parts of Odisha converged in Bhubaneswar to present their grievances to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The Chief Minister, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo and other ministers, personally attended to these concerns at the CM’s Grievance Cell in Unit-V of the capital city.

The CM’s Grievance Cell, revived by the BJP government after a hiatus of several years, saw citizens from across the state queueing up to voice their issues.

Official sources reported that Chief Minister Majhi, alongside the Deputy CM and other officials, listened attentively to the grievances presented by the public, spanning various sectors of society.

The revival of this grievance redressal mechanism holds significance, as former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had previously curtailed visits to the grievance cell.

Sources indicate that Mohan Majhi has committed to regularly hearing the grievances of the public, a move welcomed by citizens eager to seek resolution for their concerns directly from the CM.

Additionally, the state government has reinstated the Monday hearings for public grievances across all departments, as well as at the district level, as per instructions issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance department.
