Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), June 17: Ahead of the scheduled oath-taking ceremony for newly elected MLAs on June 18 and 19, a comprehensive three-tier security arrangement has been established in and around the Odisha Assembly building in Bhubaneswar.

Led by senior officials including DGP Arun Sarangi and Twin City Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda, the Odisha Police reviewed the security protocols on Monday in preparation for the first session of the new Assembly following the BJP’s recent formation of the state government.

To ensure smooth proceedings and prevent any untoward incidents during the ceremony, 75 senior police officers and eight platoon forces have been strategically deployed. Additionally, anti-sabotage and anti-terrorist teams are on standby as precautionary measures.

Given the absence of scheduled rallies, agitations, or demonstrations, the security arrangement has been structured into inner, outer, and isolation cordons. Special teams have been assigned to oversee security within the Assembly premises, as detailed by DGP Arun Sarangi.
