Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), May 6: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2024 commenced on Monday across the state, running until May 10. Official sources confirm that the exam is underway at numerous centers within and outside Odisha. Inside the state, there are a total of 57 centers, while three centers outside the state, namely Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi, are facilitating the examination.
Registrations for OJEE 2024 began on January 25 and concluded on March 25, 2024. A significant number of 65,742 students are participating in the examination, aiming to secure admission into various engineering and professional courses offered in Odisha.
The entrance exam covers a wide range of courses, including B.Pharm, MCA, M.Sc. (Comp. Sc), MBA, Int. MBA, B.CAT, M.Tech, M.Tech (Part-Time), M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm, and Lateral Entry to B.Tech, B.Pharm programs across government and private universities and colleges in Odisha.
Conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, the exam operates in three shifts. Shift 1 runs from 9 am to 11 am, followed by Shift 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and Shift 3 commencing at 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
