Amit Shah’s scheduled visit: BJP prepares for power play in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), April 22: Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s upcoming visit to Odisha, the state BJP provided detailed information about the senior leader’s itinerary on April 25.
State BJP president Manmohan Samal informed reporters in Bhubaneswar that Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Sonepur at 3:30 pm on April 25. Shah will begin his visit in Jharsuguda before proceeding to Sonepur, where he will address a public gathering.

Preparations are underway for the public meeting in Sonepur, aimed at launching the BJP’s election campaign in Odisha, where both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held simultaneously.
Following the public meeting, Amit Shah will travel to Bhubaneswar for an important meeting with senior BJP officials to discuss election strategies, Samal said. Shah is expected to stay overnight in Bhubaneswar, where he will engage with senior party members and various organizational sections as part of pre-election preparations.

Samal emphasized the significance of Shah’s visit, stating that it will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the state’s 4.5 crore residents ahead of the dual elections.

He also mentioned that Shah’s visit will be followed by a series of meetings, with other top BJP leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also scheduled to visit the state. In addition to Shah, BJP president J P Nadda will tour the state to bolster the party’s electoral prospects.
