Mystery surrounds death of Bhubaneswar entrepreneur found in guest house

Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), April 19: The discovery of an entrepreneur’s lifeless body under mysterious circumstances has unsettled Bhubaneswar.

The deceased, identified as Tapan Prasad Acharjya, was the proprietor of Bhubaneswar-based Subham Bio CNG Pvt Ltd and hailed from Phulbani in Kandhamal district. Acharjya’s decomposed remains were uncovered at the Shanti Guest House in Gajapati Nagar, within the Maitri Vihar police jurisdiction, on Thursday.

Allegedly, the 45-year-old had traveled to Bhubaneswar for a corporate engagement on Tuesday, lodging at the Shanti Guest House, where he was assigned Room No. 202.

Authorities stumbled upon his deteriorated body concealed beneath the bed in a pool of blood at the guest house. Acharjya’s family was notified, and his remains were dispatched to Bhubaneswar’s Capital Hospital for further examination.

Police have launched a probe into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the entrepreneur’s demise, probing whether foul play was involved or if other factors contributed to the tragic event.
